In 2012, Shaun’s mother almost died of an infection caused by a fibroid blockage to the kidney. This experience resulted in Shaun valuing the importance of healthy eating and the use of natural products. Therefore, she began to make her own body butter cream using Shea butter and various essential oils. In 2017, a friend of Shaun asked her to make Shea butter favors for an upcoming baby shower and by popular demand, Shea by Shaun was established in January 2019.

Shaun Bailey of Maryland is a highly driven, socially conscience and result oriented professional. Shaun Bailey has built her life around progress. With a Master’s degree in Human Resources Development and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Shaun’s goals are matched with her role as an entrepreneur, mentor, facilitator, and community activist.
